Livestock: The House of Tropical Fish - TheHotFish.com ships all livestock via UPS. UPS Early AM Express delivery will ensure that your order arrives before 10am the following business day. Neither UPS nor The House of Tropical Fish - TheHotFish.com guarantees live delivery of your purchased items but The House of Tropical Fish - TheHotFish.com will utilize appropriate climate conditioners in every shipment to prevent deaths. UPS default insurance does not guarantee livestock. A Box FEE is included in the cost of your livestock purchase price.ALL livestock sales are final unless otherwise stated. Livestock and Dry-goods are never shipped in the same box, therefore shipping of dry-goods will be done on separate orders with separate shipping costs.
Cancellation: Agreements cancelled or modified by Buyer are subject to a 25% re-stocking charge except Special Buy Items which are NON-REFUNDABLE unless insufficient stock is available to fill all orders received. The House of Tropical Fish(thehotfish.com) reserves the right to cancel any Agreement or any part thereof for any reason upon written notice to Buyer.
Delivery: Delivery to Buyer shall be F.O.B. from The House of Tropical Fish(thehotfish.com). Title and risk of loss shall pass to Buyer upon The House of Tropical Fish(thehotfish.com) delivery of the items to a common carrier or to Buyer. Shipment will be by an approved carrier selected by The House of Tropical Fish(thehotfish.com). All shipments shall be freight prepaid by Buyer. All quotes of shipping costs are estimates only. In no event will The House of Tropical Fish (thehotfish.com) be liable for any loss, damage or expense due to late delivery or damage caused by the carrier. The Items shall be deemed accepted 1 days after delivery.
Returns: If any item should arrive at Buyers destination in a damaged condition or should a shortage occur. Buyer must report the damage or shortage to the delivering carrier and to The House of Tropical Fish(thehotfish.com) within 2 days of delivery. In no case is any Item to be returned without The House of Tropical Fish(thehotfish.com) prior authorization. Unauthorized returns will be refused and marked "return to sender". Authorized returns must be securely packed in it's original packaging and shipped prepaid to The House of Tropical Fish(thehotfish.com). A re-stocking charge of 25% will apply to all returns.
Warranty: All product warranties are soley supported by the Manufacturer. The House of Tropical Fish(thehotfish.com) may choose to offer assistance to customers in locating repair centers or provide information for the purpose of contacting Manufactures or their representatives but will not provide warranty replacement items or provide shipping assistance.
Weights: Canada Post, UPS, Can-Par and Air Canada Cargo use either actual product weight in kilograms or dimensional weight in kilograms. All posted weights are in reference to products that have been packaged for delivery. The posted weight may or may not reflect the actual weight of the product. Thehotfish.com reserves the right to apply additional shipping and handling fee's to oversided items or products over 25kg.
